Our ongoing growth is creating exceptional opportunities for professional development and personal enrichment throughout our organization.Essential Job Functions:· Engineer, implement and monitor security solutions for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.· Identify and define system security requirements.· Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.· Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices and platforms.· Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security risks and automate repeatable tasks.· Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and recommendations for further system security enhancement.· Identify appropriate configurations for security tools based on business needs.· Responsible for quality assurance review of assigned projects and the evaluation and documentation of team procedures.Required skills:· Experience deploying and maintaining two or more of the following technologies: Intrusion Detection/Prevention System (IDS/IPS), Network Detection and Response (NDR), Network Access Control (NAC), NextGen Firewall, Cloud Proxy (Zero Trust).· Incident response experience severing as an SME for investigations into network activity.· Experience in leading the deployment of network solutions from planning and design through implementation, coordination with cross-functional teams, and post-deployment validation.· Technical knowledge of enterprise networking.· Minimum 2 years of experience as a network engineer.· Minimum 3 years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer.Recommended skills:· Hands-on experience with a variety of security tools. Bonus points for experience managing or deploying tools like Network Detection and Response, Network Access Control, NGFW, IDS/IPS, SIEM.· Experience in performing incident response activities.· Understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and trends.· Ability to audit firewall, IDS/IPS, NAC, NDR configurations and identify risky policies.· Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash) highly desirable.· Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Nature of Supervision:· Work is performed without appreciable direction. May take the lead on moderately complex to complex projects.Supervisory Responsibility:· No supervisory responsibilities.Education/Experience:· Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.) a plus· Security certifications are preferred· Ability to quickly articulate creative & alternative methods for solving security-specific business issues· Strong technical background· The ability to interact with a wide range of people from different backgrounds· Excellent teaching, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skill
