Job Description

Job Overview:We are looking for a skilled Support Engineer / Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical support for our client-server applications, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:- Provide Technical Support: Assist clients and internal teams with application issues, offering timely and effective solutions. - Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Diagnose problems related to Java-based applications, RESTful APIs, web servers (Tomcat, Apache), and Linux environments. - Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to identify bugs, implement fixes, and support new releases. - Maintain Application Performance: Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and manage relational databases using JDBC and SQL Server. - Enhance User Experience: Implement end-user workflows and support front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular 2, and ReactJS. - Support Deployment Processes: Utilize Java open-source frameworks (Play, Spring, Hibernate) and assist with server management and VMWare/Citrix systems. - Documentation & Communication: Create and maintain support documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. - Contribute to Agile Projects: Participate in agile scrum environments to enhance product delivery and team collaboration.Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Experience: 3+ years in development or application support, with a strong focus on client-server applications.Technical Skills:- Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. - Web Technologies: JSON, RESTful Web APIs, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server. - Frameworks: Play, Spring, Hibernate. - Database Management: Relational databases, JDBC. - System Management: Linux environments, VMWare, Citrix. - UI Tools: Angular 2, ReactJS, with Relay and GraphQL as a plus.Soft Skills:- Strong problem-solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
