Overview:CheckSum is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer based in Mexico to support capital equipment sales in the electronics manufacturing sector. This is a business development role with a strong focus on pre-sales technical engagement.You’ll work closely with customers to review their test applications and capacity needs to help define optimal test solutions. Your ability to analyze and present improved throughput and reduced costs through CheckSum’s parallel test approach will be key to your success. Ideal candidates will have experience in ICT, functional test, process engineering, and capital equipment sales, along with strong technical and process analysis skills.You will also develop test system configuration proposals, and work closely with the global sales team to prospect and build relationships at all levels of responsibility—from C-level executives, plant managers, and engineering managers, to test engineers and operators. You may visit our website for more information at .Key Responsibilities:· Support sales with technical expertise, demos, and ROI-based proposals· Analyze schematics, CAD, and process data to develop throughput/capacity models· Develop test system configuration proposals tailored to customer needs· Guide customers in evaluating test strategies and adopting parallel test· Build and maintain technical relationships with stakeholders across all levels· Collaborate with the global sales team to identify and grow key accounts· Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry events Requirements:· Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (preferred)· 5–10+ years in technical sales of capital equipment (PCBA industry)· Automotive electronics manufacturing experience required· ICT or functional test knowledge required· Process engineering and EOL test experience a plus· Strong ability to analyze test times, volume data, and present ROI· Fluent in Spanish, proficient in English· Willing to travel across Mexico and the broader region occasionally
