This is a position with grade 12 This position reports to Connectivity Design and Build Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to own software solution architecture across multiple architecture categories and ensure its alignment with enterprise and data architecture standards. You will be responsible for the design, build, integrity, and quality of Information Systems (IS) solutions and services delivered to the business. You will also consult, advise, and support the installation or modification of IS solutions/services. The work model for this role is #LI-Remote. This position contributes to the IS Area in Mexico. Your main responsibilities include: Ensuring IS solutions/services meet functionality, reliability, maintainability, compliance, and audit standards. Approving, signing off, and building solutions for ABB's production environment, ensuring quality and safety standards. Participating in IS problem and incident management by identifying and eliminating recurring defects. Defining technical IS solutions and ensuring alignment with other modules and applications through collaboration among IS solution architects and delivery units. Qualifications for the role Bachelor's degree in Science, Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in network architecture and engineering. Strong expertise in Cisco networking. Experience with cloud networking and security. CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred. Experience designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions. Ability to ensure network availability, performance, and security. Skills in troubleshooting and resolving network issues. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of CCIE certification is a plus. Knowledge of Wireless LAN Controller (WLC), ASA/Firepower (FPR) firewall, and Checkpoint firewall. Experience working with ISE, SDWAN, DHCP, DNS, and MS Active Directory. Familiarity with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, OMP, IPSec VPN, and SSL VPN. What's in it for you?
