Job Description The main scope of this service is to provide onsite engineering support to manage technical aspects of an engine and propulsion system for a Cummins engine. Responsibilities include: Point of contact for all engine hardware issues. Lead initial root cause analysis and support through closure. Prioritize and maintain meeting agendas, drive decisions on key issues, ensure adequate representation, document meeting notes and presentation materials. Ensure 3D models are up to date. Support Engine Change Management. Collaborate with Cummins DREs and the broader team to process engineering change notices, acting as a conduit to address issues/questions/concerns. Support cost reduction initiatives and activities. Ensure adequate representation, escalate unresolved issues, and challenge the team to deliver benchmark designs. Write requisitions for E&D or prototype parts/engines. Lead and support Quality/Warranty and TWC workshops. Manage engine hardware-related GIMS updates and tracking. Support vehicle team activities. Align design activities with project timing, coordinating with CE/ACE. Initiate contact and support meetings with other business units such as aerothermal, underhood packaging, cooling system architecture. Support issue resolution and drive the resolution of open issues. Technical Skills Demonstrated technical expertise in Propulsion Systems. Ability to analyze and process data using Matlab and/or Microsoft Excel. Lead resolution of technical issues using structured problem-solving methodologies. Provide value evaluations for different solution proposals. Working knowledge of Stellantis NX and TeamCenter. Access to Bestandard for engineering standards. Access to CCD and CN systems.
