Outside SalesEssential Functions and Basic Duties:Negotiate shipments and rates for new customers with potential cargo either import or export. Maintain rates duly filed in terms of freight level, charges and validity in lara system. Provide a monthly export equipment forecast. Inform customers about implementation of gri; pss; baf increase, restrictions or any information relevant to the development of the customer shipments, etc. Develop and receive lead cargoes with foreign office in order to secure new business or attend any specific issue related to negotiation of cargo or already existing business. Prepare and send to traffic director the weekly preplan including most important activities. Negotiate with principals/proper parties additional terms necessary to close each business or increase current. Support cs impo & expo to negotiate demurrages collection if first channels were already explored. Support freight collection activities in case of payment delays from any consignee or shipper.Education:Degree in international commerce, international business or similar degreesRequired knowledge:Knowledge of shipping industry Knowledge of export processes Basic knowledge of custom operations Knowledge of port operations Knowledge of cma-cgm services Bi-lingual in Spanish and EnglishExperience Required:1-2 years in shipping preferably
