About the JobA Japanese producer and seller of manufacturing equipment (machines and machine parts used in manufacturing) is looking for a Sales Representative for their branch office in Monterrey, Mexico.The successful applicant will be responsible for providing existing services and developing new services for the current client base. He/she will also be responsible for handling and expanding sales activities to acquire new customers and to expand business activities.For this role, knowledge about the industry and the local market, as well as the ability to research valid information and opportunities, are needed.Tasks- Provide sales activities and after-sales service to existing clients - Assess clients’ needs, create/edit machine drawings (blueprints) based on needed specs for required machine parts - New client acquisition (Japanese as well as Mexican, US, and international companies) - Networking activities to expand current market activates - Market research to find new business opportunities - Cooperate with onsite team members to achieve set targets - In-office operations (creating presentations, proposals, quotations etc.) - Communicate on a regular basis with Japan HQ (communication will be in English)Required Skills / ExperienceMust-haves:- Ideally about 10 years of B2B Sales experience (ideally in the manufacturing industry) - Experience in business development and market research in Mexico - Strong communication skills - Driving License - Office 365 Skills (Excel) - University degree - English: Fluent - Spanish: FluentPreferred:- Understanding of manufacturing industry and supply chains - Technical understanding to consult with clients' engineering teams (able to read and edit machine blueprints to determine and adjust needed features of machinery parts) - Experience with machinery equipment makers and/or makers for dies and molds - Experience working in a Japanese company or working closely with Japanese businesses and clientsAdditional Information- Location: Monterey, Mexico - Starting Date: as soon as possible - Contract type: Regular Full-time employee - Working hours: Mo-Fr 8:30 to 17: 30 (lunch break: 13:00 to 14:00) - (once a week evening meeting with Japan HQ (compensated via work time adjustment)) - Monthly income: MXN 30,000 - 35,000 (depending on skills and experience) - Yearly bonus (based on company performance) - Health Insurance / Pension / Social Security - Work laptop / mobile phone will be provided
