Job Description

JOB POSITION SCOPE:Annual Standard Costing: Directly responsible for the application of processes for compliance with cost allocations in production and consumption materials.- Carry out all procedures in a timely manner for the correct allocation of standard costs for the database of finished products, sub-assemblies, raw materials and packaging. - Review of production versions. - Advice on resolving errors in the execution of database costing. - Analysis of expenses and hours, manufacturing costs, maintenance and updating of internal production orders. - Loading information to SAP regarding expenses, hours, Activity Types and SKF's. - Analysis of variations of +/-10% and/or +/- $10K annually in finished products, subassemblies, raw materials and packaging materials. - Collect annual expense information for the preparation of the annual report for the customs department. - Analysis and maintenance in allocation cycles. - Standard cost execution.Monthly Closing Execution: Directly responsible for the application and execution of the monthly closure of production, external sterilization, manufacturing and distribution plants.- Support. - Carry out all procedures in a timely manner for the correct closing of the month in the allocation of expenses to the manufacturing cost centers. - Weekly Review and Analysis of Expenses and production hours. - Review and Analysis of material consumption. - Process information for the result of current manufacturing cost (allocation). - Perform expense analysis, production hours, freight analysis, - Material cost analysis, - Analysis of annual standard cost variations, - Weekly reports for prevention and correction purposes, forecast of hours and expenses, hourly production rate. - Monthly summary of plant behavior.Weekly, Monthly and Annual Analysis: Responsible for weekly preventive and corrective analysis for decision making. Monthly analysis of current spending and plan. Annual analysis of cost variations in materials, operating costs and expenses.Responsible for providing information support for the annual report of the customs department of the different companies (Mexico and Honduras).- Carry out variation analysis of expenses and production hours. - Freight analysis in the cost of external sterilization and manufacturing plants. - Analysis of material costs, - Analysis of annual standard cost variations, - Weekly reports for prevention and correction purposes, preparation of monthly forecast of hours and expenses, - Calculation of cost per hour. - Monthly summary of plant behavior. - Provide annual information to the customs department for the preparation of the Cost Submission.Job Position Accountabilities / Expectations- Assign standard costs for new products, as well as new versions of existing products, working directly with other areas related to the process to obtain a cost in a timely and accurate manner. - Analyze BOM (Bill of materials) and product recipes that include routes, cost per hour and product preparation time, for the proper calculation of the standard cost, as well as reporting and following up on any discrepancies that may arise, thus avoiding incorrect cost. - Analyze the average cost of raw materials, ensuring that changes in them are reasonable and follow up on any variations that may have a financial impact on the cost of the products. - Maintain updated freight costs by moving products between production plants, sterilization centers, and distribution centers. - Periodically carry out the cost adjustment process for all products, identifying errors and following up on their correction for correct costing, analyzing the variations between each period and explaining the root cause that impacts the inventory revaluation. - Weekly analysis of variations between plan and current: - Consumption of materials, determine root cause such as price, quantity, replacement of materials, scrap. - Production hours. - Expenses related to the cost of plant operation.Qualifications / Education / Experience- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance. - ENGLISH: Advanced. - EXPERIENCIE: 3 to 5 years.
