You’ll be testing and acting as a user advocate for a platform that lets lawyers scale themselves 100x more effectively.What you’ll do:Work with a talented and collaborative QE team passionate about delivering a quality productBe an integral part of a cross-functional team and advocate for the implementation of quality-minded practicesDesign, document and execute test plans to identify defects and continuously improve Quality process as part of the Software development lifecycleEmploy user empathy to provide usability feedback and insights on how to best ensure that features meet or exceed expectations and create a positive user experienceReview design and product specifications to ensure they address customer use cases, proactively identify potential areas of risk and discuss potential solutionsUtilize version control, cloud hosting, CI tools to effectively test complex business logic on our web application built on a modern stack (TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Java, and Docker containers in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform)What we look for:A Software Quality Engineer with 4+ years of industry experience working on a high caliber QE team, testing SaaS web applications to help deliver a high quality productBachelors in Computer Science (or STEM related field) OR equivalent work experienceSolid knowledge of QE methodologies, processes, tools, and the software development lifecycleExperience using TestRail, Jira, Github, Google Cloud Platform, Circle CI (or similar tools)Track record of leading quality initiatives or projects as part of a cross-functional teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skill set with the ability to anticipate problems and propose solutionsDesire to work cross-functionally with excellent communication skills (experience in legal space not required) and express user empathy with partners across the businessAbility to operate independently, take on complex projects, and drive improvements in areas of riskProvide technical mentorship and guidance for junior teammatesWhat We OfferCollaborative and innovative work environmentFlex PTO for any reason, including sick days (no specified limits), flexible work schedule.Personal laptop.Health and wellness package.
