PurposeThe Director of Financial Operations – SSC/MEX is a critical and highly visible role within WWEX Group. This leader will oversee the integration, coordination, and performance of key accounting and finance functions within our Monterrey-based Shared Services Center.This role requires strong operational expertise and a mindset focused on efficiency, scalability, and leadership development. The Director will directly manage 3 managers and a team of 60+ associates. The ideal candidate brings proven experience leading financial operations in a fast-paced, complex organization — someone who can think strategically while rolling up their sleeves as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day operations for: Carrier Billing, Carrier Payables, Revenue Operations (Credit, Collections, AR, Cash Application, Support)Optimize processes across all financial operations functions to support service-level achievement and long-term scale.Oversee invoicing, collections, cash applications, and carrier payments.Foster a strong team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and professional development.Communicate financial performance clearly and regularly with internal and external stakeholders.Design and manage the team structure for efficiency and future growth.Ensure compliance with internal controls, collaborating with audit and process owners.Champion process improvements, best practices, and operational excellence in accounting.Provide guidance on GAAP, including research and internal support.Hire, coach, and develop high-performing teams — including interviewing, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management.Leadership & Style ExpectationsStrong people leadership: motivates, delegates, and develops others.Perseveres through challenges and leads with integrity and accountability.Emotionally intelligent, persuasive communicator, and trusted partner.Promotes a culture of shared success, inclusion, and continuous improvement.Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial energy — able to drive sustainable innovation.Confident in making decisions amidst ambiguity and guiding others through change.Committed to long-term organizational success through strategic thinking, data-driven decisions, and inclusive leadership.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.10+ years of accounting experience with at least 5 years in a finance leadership role.Experience managing large, transactional finance teams within complex organizations.Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and shared services operations.ERP experience required; Oracle, SAP, HighRadius, TriumphPay, or Salesforce preferred.M&A due diligence and integration experience preferred.Six Sigma certification and PMP are a plus.Highly analytical with excellent Excel skills and business acumen.Skilled in managing performance, providing direction, and communicating effectively at all levels.
