And so much more.u200bu202fu202f u200bCome break through with us.u202f Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings u2013 carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use. **Role Purpose** We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior MES Developer to lead the enhancement of our Manufacturing Execution Systems with a strong focus on data analysis and machine learning. The primary goal of this role is to drive a 30% increase in production output by implementing intelligent system adjustments, predictive analytics, and process optimization. **Key Responsibilities** Design, develop, and maintain MES applications tailored to production line performance improvement. Analyze manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation. Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python to predict equipment failures, optimize scheduling, and improve throughput. Collaborate closely with Quality and Engineering teams to align MES enhancements with operational goals. Integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, and other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and process control. **Experiences/Education - Required** Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in MES development and manufacturing systems integration. Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as numpy, pytorch, and tensorflow. Solid understanding of data modeling, ML, and statistical analysis. Experience with MES platforms such as Comet or CAMSTAR, iFix, or OSIPI. **Experiences/Education - Desired** Familiarity with ISA 95 and GxP standards. Experience with real time data acquisition, OPC, and industrial protocols. Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
