Job Title

Responsible for strategic sourcing of goods, materials and services to meet company operational needs, considering price, quality, productivity and delivery on time to ensure continuity of supply. This role holds responsibility for a group of several manufacturing sites, R&D facilities and/or distribution centers and should function as the main point of contact for everything indirect related while also educating internal stakeholders on procurement policies. A strategic sourcing buyer negotiates midsize value contracts, complex requirements and coordinates meetings with internal clients to meet objectives while achieving maximum overall cost effectiveness and productivity savings. Drive SBG strategic plan with supporting strategies to achieve productivity/cost savings. Align with Commodity Strategies including spend site analysis, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends Ensure Relationship development and management with key Supplier Leaderships Improve Working Capital through Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories, etc. Inventory and Lead time reductions Assist in Site Tactical Procurement escalations, reconciliations and reporting as required **MUST HAVE/CORE COMPETENCIES** Bacheloru2019s degree 3 u2013 5 years of experience in operational or tactical purchasing for indirect/direct material.
