Come, stay, and grow with us.Evaluate bids, select and recommend suppliers, and negotiate price, quality, delivery, and service termsReview significant or complex bids with supervisor before finalizing awardsExpedite orders with suppliers to meet production schedules and resolve delaysNegotiate and settle disputes with suppliers on damage claims, rejections, returns, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering changesConduct supplier site visits and assess performance, production capability, and delivery reliabilityCompile and analyze statistical data to support purchasing strategies and supplier negotiationsCollaborate with Accounting to resolve invoice and payment discrepanciesSupport lean purchasing initiatives, including Kanban systems and supplier development programsBachelor’s degreeAt least 1 year of related purchasing experienceFluent in EnglishStrong negotiation and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIntermediate knowledge of purchasing practices for lean manufacturing, Kanban, and supplier developmentSome knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality controlCompetence in computerized procurement systemsProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate to advanced)MS Access experience a plus
