The Talent Acquisition Recruiting Manager oversees recruitment processes across the Owens & Minor businesses, develops strategies, manages teams, and ensures compliance to attract and retain top talent, while working closely with HR and business leaders to meet staffing needs. Key Responsibilities of a Recruiting Manager:Strategic Planning & Implementation:Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with the company's goals and hiring needs. Identify and address staffing needs, both current and future. Create and maintain effective recruitment processes and procedures. Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement. Team Management & Supervision:Lead and manage a team of recruiters, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Set goals and objectives for the recruitment team and track their performance. Coach and mentor recruiters to improve their skills and effectiveness. Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with Talent Acquisition Leaders and Business Leaders to understand hiring needs and requirements. Provide ongoing and consistent updates on Talent Acquisition metrics.Ensure the recruiting team is engaged, agile and high performing.Compliance and Legal:Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Monitor and align to Talent Acquisition hiring processes for operational excellence.Maintain accurate and organized records of recruitment activities. Minimum education and experience required of the position: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. 5+ years in HR or related experience with or without a degree. 2+ years leading teams, or leading programs and initiatives where the employee can demonstrate the ability to effectively influence others. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.
