We are hiring an Variant Configuration Analyst - Manufacturing to support the modeling and validation of Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOMs) in support of Steelcase's move to a new ERP system, SAP S4. What You Will Be Doing:Analyzing multi-level bills of material structuresReviewing, writing and debugging object dependency syntaxValidation of migrated data models compared to existing ERP source systemWorking in a small team structure assigned to existing Steelcase subject matter expertsParticipating in team stand-ups to ensure work prioritization and issue resolution Who You Are:You understand Product structure (bills of materials, assembly lists, breakdown of product in manufacturing, routings)You can understand and develop product structure rulesYou possess the ability to analyze and compare large datasets, identify patterns/outliers, and provide actionable suggestionsTeam player, inquisitive with a strong attention to detail Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in analytical engineering or Manufacturing or IT-related fieldAdvanced English proficiency is required for the position.Exposure and understanding super BOMs and super routing is a mustExperience working with the SAP business ERP software, ideally within the Product Master and Variant Configuration.
