Business Systems Manager - Mexicali, Mexico (Western Region)We are seeking an experienced and skilled Business Systems Manager to join our team in Mexicali, Mexico, overseeing operations across the Western Region, including California. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach, extensive knowledge of SQL and related technologies, and the ability to travel across the U.S.-Mexico border.Responsibilities:Manage and optimize the organization's business systems, particularly those leveraging SQL databases, across the Western RegionLead the design, development, and implementation of new business systems and improvements to existing systemsOversee the integration of SQL-based applications with other business systemsCollaborate with various departments to identify and implement cost-effective technological solutionsEnsure the security, stability, and compliance of all business systemsParticipate in the formulation and development of the company's IT strategyPlan and oversee system upgrades and enhancementsDevelop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendorsTravel across the U.S.-Mexico border to support regional operations and collaborate with teams in CaliforniaRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in business systems management or related rolesExtensive knowledge of SQL and database management systemsExperience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 including T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning and system integrationStrong understanding of system integration and data managementExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsProven leadership experience in managing IT teams and projectsFluency in both English and Spanish (bilingual proficiency required)Ability to travel across the U.S.-Mexico border regularlyValid passport and eligibility to work and travel between Mexico and the U.S.Experience in process improvement and automationStrong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teamsKey Skills:SQL and database management expertiseSystem integration and customizationProject managementTeam leadershipBusiness process analysis and optimizationData warehouse managementVendor managementIT security and complianceBilingual proficiency (English/Spanish)Cross-border collaboration and travelThe ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership skills, driving our organization's technological advancement across the Western Region while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
