Main Purpose: The Data & Analytics BI Manager is responsible for working directly with business leader and BI consumers to identify reporting and analytical requirements that will enable the business to take better decisions, document technical/functional specifications and coordinate the development, of Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the requirements. Lead a team of consultants (internal/external) to provide the measurement of metrics, reports, dashboards and business intelligence to the business and should be knowledgeable about the functional business areas and drive commonality of processes, tools and methods across the product groups to enable efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting. Position Requirements: Bachelor´s degree on Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fluent in Spanish & English. Experience: 6+ years of hands-on Business Intelligence experience defining analytical requirements based on expected decisions and business processes. 5+ years of work in BI tools like Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, ETL. Work experience in a relevant Data / BI / Analytics Area. Knowledge and Technical Requirements Proficiency in SQL. Understanding of data engineering pipelines and processes. Project management, information technology, financial analysis, and business/strategic planning. Related knowledge to project management and IT systems implementation. Agile Methodologies and Scrum Framework. Good understanding of APIs, data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes and big-data concepts. JIRA and Azure Dev Ops tools to promote agile project management techniques. Prior experience in a BI, Analytics or Data Warehouse. Key Job Accountabilities: Manage complex, time-sensitive projects and synthesizes data and information to identify relevant trends and next steps. Identify and investigate commercial or opensource options which may offer a more effective solution to some or all the requirements. Works with cross-functional teams across NS Mexico and NS United States. Provide inputs connecting different data sources that enable the right finance indicators (I.e. EBITDA, P&L, COGS, etc). Works independently to construct complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance. Systems, Dashboards, Cubes, Data Lakes reflect and support efficient and effective processes. Assure the Data Integrity on the different Data Bases, proposing and executing preventive corrections. Analyze and promote sustainable practices associated with their area, improve existing ones if possible, and attend to new proposals associated with sustainability linked to the area, its collaborators or its operations.
