Product & Design Engineering ManagerLocation: Piedras Negras, Coahuila | Full-Time | On-SiteWe’re looking for an experienced and innovative Product & Design Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in Piedras Negras. In this role, you’ll oversee product design and validation, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement in our engineering processes. You’ll be the key link between design and operations—ensuring quality, innovation, and timely delivery across our automotive product lines.What You’ll Do:Lead and develop a cross-functional engineering team (product design & validation).Drive product enhancements for parts in production and lead new product introduction efforts.Manage engineering documentation and standardize design instruction sheets.Oversee design reviews and guide final design approvals.Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), product validations, and testing requests.Support resolution of customer complaints and continuous product improvements.Develop department goals, budgets, and talent development plans.Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams.What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); MBA a plus.5+ years of experience in engineering leadership, preferably in the automotive industry.Strong knowledge of product design and validation processes.Experience with fuse holders, Body Control Modules (BCM), or similar products preferred.Familiarity with DFM principles, molding/stamping, and 3D CAD tools (UG, CATIA, or Pro-E).Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.Why Join Us?Be part of a global leader in automotive systems and innovation.Play a strategic role in advancing next-generation components.Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with opportunities for growth
