Product Design Engineer- CockpitPosition Description:The Cockpit Product Design Engineer must have experience in the design / development of cockpit components and will drive the development process. The candidate will be responsible to design, release, and validate Cockpit systems and components, leading the process from inception through launch. The candidate must be knowledgeable in development of DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation plans.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university or equivalent (Material Science/ Civil Engineering/ Aerospace) Engineering degreeAll experience levels considered including recent college graduatesKnowledge of Product Development for Cockpit Systems in one or more areas below:Instrument Panel Systems and Components,Console System and Components, Door Trim Systems and ComponentsCross Car Beam Structures (Steel welded Assemblies and/or Cast Structures)NX, Team Center, Stellantis business system experienceKnowledgeable in development of DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation plansSelf Starter with ability to lead and direct a cross-functional team.Hands on experience with Design, Release and Manufacturing of Cockpit components.Knowledge of tooling (Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Foaming, Stamping)Injection molding, Blow molding, Foaming process and Stamping experienceMS Office experience
