We are seeking a hands-on, transformational Supply Chain Manager to lead materials planning, inventory control, and warehouse operations across multiple manufacturing facilities in Guadalajara. This role requires a proactive leader with experience bringing structure to underdeveloped environments, especially in high-demand industries like automotive.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team across materials planning, inventory management, and warehouse operations.- Oversee end-to-end material flow, ensuring alignment with production demands and customer requirements.- Implement and enhance processes for inventory control, warehouse optimization, and material availability to minimize downtime and expedite throughput.- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure efficient material usage and just-in-time delivery.- Drive improvements in SAP processes and leverage the system's customization to meet business needs.- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor team performance and inventory accuracy.- Standardize workflows, reduce excess material, and introduce best practices for lean material management.- Lead change management initiatives, especially in areas lacking formal processes or controls.Qualifications:- Proven experience in materials management or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).- Experience working with and customizing SAP for material and warehouse functions.- Demonstrated ability to build and scale processes.- Skilled in leading large teams, ideally including warehouse personnel.- Fluent in Spanish and English.Preferred Traits:- Change agent who thrives in fast-paced, high-urgency settings.- Strong communicator with a coaching leadership style.- Analytical thinker with a knack for problem-solving and process improvement.
