For more information, visit Mission/Objective: Develop work strategies that foster a healthy, conflict-free, and productive work environment in Metalsa's labor relations.What does your day look like?Handle voluntary and involuntary terminations and severance processes (conflict cases).Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the union advisor and the team of delegates, validating and supporting the implementation of their improvement actions, as well as evaluating their performance as a team.Participate in joint commissions for training, development, productivity, and health & safety, to ensure they meet their work plans.Follow up on compliance with the Internal Work Regulations (RIT) (management of DIEF, absenteeism, vacations, leaves, disciplinary actions, overtime) through control audits of positions with personnel in charge, establishing improvement commitments on controls and recorded incidents.Analyze key indicators such as retention, absenteeism, and overtime to initiate, improve, and maintain control over these metrics.Monitor the implementation of Growth and Development Programs, as well as all contractual conditions.Advise and train coordinators in resolving critical incidents, applying disciplinary actions, conducting counseling sessions, labor suspensions, and handling rule violations.Monitor the internal and external work environment (companies, unions, labor authorities) to maintain labor stability.Audit the Talent Acquisition processes to minimize labor risks.Comply with applicable quality and environmental system guidelines for the area.Ensure compliance with the Profit-Sharing (PTU) process – joint commission, constitution act, form delivery, listing publication, and timely payment.Negotiate the collective bargaining agreement.Follow up on labor lawsuits and alimony claims.Audit contractor and outsourcing policy compliance.Handle special cases, such as deaths, arrests, injuries, pensions, etc.Analyze ECO and ECT survey results and manage the implementation of countermeasures.Manage DSF Kronos pre-payroll system.Ensure the implementation of Safety and Health Practices and Initiatives defined in the SI&SO Strategy; ensure compliance with local legal requirements; apply applicable Safety rules and procedures to guarantee safe work environments in assigned areas or activities under their operation; report any type of risk that could compromise the physical integrity of employees, the environment, or company facilities, and attend safety training as agreed or indicated by leadership or the Training department.Attend FMDS and Section Board meetings to follow up on labor matters.Ensure salary changes in the system, overtime, annual bonuses, and benefits are applied in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCT) and defined guidelines.Ensure newly hired talent complies with Metalsa’s policies and guidelines to avoid labor conflicts.Meet the indicators and guidelines of the Metalsa Model.Build and/or strengthen a synergistic and collaborative relationship with the labor union and its representatives.Establish communication and trust channels with local and federal labor authorities.Actively participate in various business forums to build strong alliances that improve labor practices.Develop strategies for effective management and negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, always aligned with the organizational strategy, legislation, and cultural model.Develop high-performance teams (labor specialists and union delegates).Promote good relationships with the community (neighbors).Drive events aligned with the cultural model.Participate in the launch of new projects, implementing strategies focused on employee well-being.Create and participate in labor committees to standardize best practices.Lead workforce separation strategies, ensuring alignment with the cultural model.Technical SkillsSolid knowledge of Federal Labor Law and General Labor RegulationsFamiliarity with operational environments within a manufacturing companyAdvanced ExcelConversational English+4 years of experienceWhat is in it for YOU?
