For us, the future is bright!Job OpportunityJoin the team and take the opportunity to be part of the energy transition in Mexico.We are looking for a Performance Analyst to join the Zuma Team.General Objective of the PositionThe Performance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and ensuring the performance of renewable energy generation systems, including solar panels, wind turbines, and other clean energy sources. This role will focus on data analysis, predictive maintenance, and the preparation of technical reports with the objective of maximizing operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting collaboration across various departments within the organization.Main responsibilities1.- Non-Technical Risk Mitigation SystemValidate that the data downloaded by the operator is properly cleaned and ready for analysis.Conduct continuous real-time monitoring of renewable energy technologies using specialized tools and SCADA systems.Manage tools and software that facilitate data analysis.Integrate smart systems capable of making real-time adjustments to operational parameters.2.- Technical Performance Management SystemPrepare performance KPIs and issue weekly and monthly operational reports.Compare current performance against benchmarks and historical data to identify deviations.Collaborate with technical teams to implement technological improvements in monitoring systems.Prepare detailed reports for senior management regarding efficiency, cost reduction, and energy production.Ensure that underperforming equipment is properly addressed to restore or enhance its performance.Perform forecast analysis to efficiently schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing energy losses.Identify and troubleshoot anomalies within energy generation systems.3.- Compliance Management SystemEnsure that all equipment operates within optimal parameters and complies with applicable industry regulations and standards.4.- Business Management SystemImmediately report any significant performance deviations that could impact plant operations or equipment availability.Support the generation (TMG) and performance update processes for improving offers related to AUGC-MDA and MTR.Propose and lead the implementation of corrective actions and operational improvements.Coordinate optimization projects with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams. Perform advanced data analysis using machine learning techniques and predictive modeling. Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve the efficiency and stability of renewable energy generation.Job ProfileEducation: Bachelor´s degree or Engineering in electrical, energy, Data science, electronics, mechatronic, or related fieldsProfessional Area: Renewables energy sector, Performance Monitoring.Specific Knowledge: Strong analytical understanding of the performance of operational processes in solar and wind power plants.Minimum Required Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in large-scale data analysis in the energy sector, specifically in solar and wind power plants.Systems or Equipment: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as advanced Excel and Power BI, among others.
