Fiat Chrysler-STELLANTIS México ((Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia, Maserati, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge y RAM, Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel y Vauxhall), empresa trasnacional del sector automotriz y de las 25 mejores empresas para trabajar en México, te invita a formar parte de su equipo como:Propulsion Systems Commodities Quality Lead (CQL)Purpose and Technical Perimeter activities:Is integrated into the vehicle plant as part of the vehicle launching team from X1 pilot phase thru launch ramp upAs part of the launch of a new vehicle project, the Commodities Quality Leader is in charge to ensure the responsiveness of the treatment of quality defects, due to supplier's compliance issues and assembly issues, in order to achieve the quality objectives for the SOP.​The Commodities Quality Leader is the representative of the PRS designers to the project and the plant people regarding the treatment of quality issues he has to manage.​The Commodities Quality Leader works closely with the PRS SSTM - (PRS Sub System Technical Manager) of the project, the PHES SSTM – (HVAC & Engine Systems Sub System Technical Manager), and the PWT Launch Leader.​The Commodities Quality Leader covers all the PRS technical perimeters: they manage all the parts designed by PRS (PHES, PCMP, PEDS, PENG, PTDR) that are assembled in the vehicle plant.​The Commodities Quality Leader is a “Key Person” of the project organization located in the plant to secure the SOP (Start of Production) regarding the quality objectives.​To manage and accept the parts at each step of project's progress, the Commodities Quality Leader:​Formalizes the quality check list to carry out the part inspection on reception to ensure the compliance of the parts. Support plant CQ (Control Quality) to check the compliance of the incoming parts.​Ensures that the inspection report is complete and that the parts comply with the definition at each step.​Carries out the tests (assembly, metrology, functional, …) necessary to verify the conformity of the samples and their use in the process.​Interacts with SQD for the process status and proposes the quality product status.​Provides the acceptance report and informs the plant IT systems.​Issues a deviation sheet if the acceptance state requires it and manages its processing.​Carries out containment or interim action as necessary, to ensure the quality level of the usage in vehicle.​Supports analysis of issues detected on captive fleet vehicles.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited university (other Engineering degrees, in combination with relevant experience may be considered)Minimum of 5 years of related experiencePrevious experience in Engineering Department, Vehicle/mechanic Plant or Project teamAbility to lead an Engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on timeExperience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actionsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal from High Level Meetings down to the Shop FloorAbility to work off shift hours as necessarySelf-motivated and directedAbility to thrive in a high intensity environment while working on multiple projectsRigorous and pragmaticLanguages: plant language & EnglishLocation: 100% On-site position at Toluca with availability to travel and support Saltillo´s PlantsWe offer: Direct hiring Above the law benefitsEOE / Disability / Veteran At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
