About the role:As a Business Development Representative for TQL Mexico, you will be responsible for driving revenue by identifying business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and promoting cross-border logistics services for TQL Mexico’s customer, TQL. This position is based in Monterrey, MX, but will require relocation to San Antonio, TX for a 6-month training period. After completing the training, you will return to Monterrey to help open our new office and continue your role.What you’ll be doing:Identifying and developing potential accounts for TQL, including initiating contact, building relationships, and qualifying opportunities.Facilitating the closing of Mexico cross-border account opportunities within an assigned geographic region.Face-to-face, B2B promotion.Traveling up to 50% for prospect meetings, customer meetings, and trade shows.Collaborating with our affiliate’s sales representatives and managers to create and deliver cross-border presentations to customers in-person, virtually, or over the phone.Working alongside the affiliated companies’ pricing teams to develop customized and competitive pricing proposals.Communicating industry trends and market conditions to senior leadership and customers.What you need:Fluent in Spanish and English.Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.2+ years of logistics promotion experience required.Ability to travel up to 50%.High sense of urgency with a results-oriented focus.On call 24/7/365 to receive calls from carriers, clients, and affiliated companies.Excellent communication skills and relationship-building skills.Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Self-directed with the ability to solve problems with minimal oversight.Strong phone, and in-person sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.Training Details:Relocation to San Antonio, TX for a 6-month training period.Comprehensive training program to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge.Support and guidance from experienced professionals during the training period.Company-provided housing assistance while in San Antonio.Visa sponsorship for the duration of the training.Company-provided travel back and forth between Monterrey and San Antonio during the training period.After completing the training, you will return to Monterrey, MX to help open our new office.
