Job Description

As a Senior Clinical System Lead , you will join the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organization, powered by healthcare intelligence. You will have the opportunity to gain experience working with a large biotech company, a pioneer and industry leader in antibody research, utilizing their innovative technology platform across multiple therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Infectious Disease, Cardiovascular, and Metabolic Diseases. What you will be doing The role involves defining and facilitating the participant data journey, identifying data sources, transport methods, ingestion to the client’s ecosystem, and mitigating potential challenges to ensure data understanding, consistency, and integrity. You will collaborate with technical and clinical teams to define data requirements and challenges, providing short- and long-term solutions as a subject matter expert in data management and statistics. Guide data ingestion processes and clinical data custody, liaising with CROs, vendors, and internal teams. Document participant data sources and create data flow maps; contribute to technical data specifications. Serve as the primary contact for nonstandard data ingestion and define data demand with enablement teams. Conduct data ingestion reconciliation and perform risk assessments for participant data content, advising on mitigation strategies. Support digital health technologies and eSource data, ensuring data integrity and contributing to long-term solutions. Evaluate and define strategic vendors for data support, assessing capabilities and limitations. Work with data enablement teams on data harmonization, transformation, validation, and automation. Contribute to business and process improvements, ensuring compliance with technological and regulatory standards, including digital protocols and automation initiatives. Ensure adherence to data governance frameworks for participant data. You are: Knowledgeable about modern data management platforms and technologies, including Big Data, Lakehouse, and data integration. Experienced with clinical data sets, EDC, and non-CRF data. Skilled in analyzing large and complex datasets, including research and clinical data. Having at least 4 years (preferably 7+) of experience in clinical data management and acquisition, ideally in Biopharma. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields. What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on our people.
