Join to apply for the Solutions Engineer role at Cisco . We seek a Solutions Engineer with broad experience in Networking, Collaboration, Data Center, Security, and Software-Defined Technologies to partner with our Select Territory Account Managers in a pre-sales technical role. This involves showcasing Cisco product solutions through demonstrations, explaining features and benefits to customers, and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs. Meet the Team The team has access to a broad palette of Cisco technologies and applications across various vertical markets. Besides technological competence and the ability to learn quickly and stay current, the ideal candidate's interpersonal, presentation, and troubleshooting skills should evoke passion and confidence. Your Impact Responsibilities include: Managing direct account and partner responsibilities for select accounts. Keeping up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services. Providing technical and sales support for accounts in the assigned territory. Leading projects in large accounts. Performing technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects. Assisting with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for opportunities. Participating as a specialist on the Virtual Team and providing consultative support in your area of expertise. Minimum Qualifications +7 years of related experience. Pre-Sales experience. Current CCNP or CCIE Certifications. Knowledge and operating experience in areas such as Unified Communications, Video, Campus LAN & WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Security, BYOD architectures, Data Center Technologies, Big Data, Analytics, SDN, Server Architecture, Virtualization, or Programmability. Availability to travel up to 50% to customer sites and offices. Preferred Qualifications Typically requires BS/BA in EE/CS or equivalent. Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills.
