Job Summary Review and provide both legal and business advice for a variety of corporate and business matters, corporate contracting, and compliance support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to work independently with a professional presence, identify and escalate issues as appropriate. Works on projects of increasing complexity, advises internal clients within guidance. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Management & Supervisory Responsibilities Typically reports to Legal Management. Direct supervisor titles may include: Sr. Corporate Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, etc. This role is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination, pay decisions, performance management). Job Qualifications Knowledge Requirements Good oral and written communication skills, good judgment, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a changing, fast-paced, and energetic environment. Strong work ethic, motivated, self-starter, conflict resolution skills, business acumen with a problem-solving approach, and ability to prioritize and manage competing demands. Professional proficiency in English & Spanish is required. Education & Experience Requirements Minimum 2-5 years of legal experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. Graduate of a Mexican Law University or foreign equivalent law school, member of a bar in good standing, eligible to practice law in Mexico. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. Professional knowledge of English is required.
