The ideal candidate will be responsible fortranslating a variety of technical and operational documents from Spanish to English withaccuracy, consistency, and cultural sensitivity, while maintaining domain-specificterminology.Key Responsibilities:• Translate technical, operational, and administrative documents from Spanish toEnglish, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and contextual relevance.• Work with engineers, field experts, and documentation teams to ensure correct usageof railroad industry terminology.• Review and edit translated content for grammar, style, and tone.• Maintain a glossary of domain-specific terms and update it as needed.• Assist in translating training materials, safety manuals, infrastructure projectdocuments, and reports.• Participate in review sessions and provide linguistic support during bilingual meetingsor communications.Required Qualifications:• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or related field (orequivalent experience).• 0–2 years of professional translation experience, preferably in technical or industrialsectors.• Basic knowledge or exposure to the railroad/railway domain, includingterminology, operations, or safety standards.• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.Nice-to-Have Skills:• Familiarity with railroad technical documentation (e.g., track layouts, signaling,rolling stock).• Experience with translation software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).• Ability to translate in both directions (Spanish ↔ English) is a plus.• Previous work with infrastructure or transportation agencie
