Position Title: General Manager – Mexico Site Location: MexicoDepartment: Operations / Manufacturing Management Reports to: Group Headquarters Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop, decode, execute, and iteratively refine strategic plans for the overseas manufacturing base in alignment with corporate objectives. Building Core Competency in Smart Manufacturing: Establish advanced smart manufacturing capabilities by planning lean automation and digital transformation initiatives. Improve manufacturability of new products to achieve industry-leading metrics in first-pass yield, UPH (Units Per Person per Hour), and quality. Drive continuous innovation to build flexible and resilient manufacturing systems capable of supporting global customer delivery demands. Operational Performance Management: Develop and execute overall site budgets. Continuously expand and optimize customer and product portfolios. Formulate departmental strategies, identify and mitigate business continuity risks, and lead regular business and operational review meetings to ensure delivery, quality, cost, efficiency, and business goals are achieved. Leading Management Improvements and Business Transformation: Design manufacturing process frameworks, lead organizational and business process transformation. Establish end-to-end processes across ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) and IPD (Integrated Product Development) to address operational pain points and enhance organizational efficiency. Customer Satisfaction & Corporate Social Responsibility: Understand and manage customer needs and expectations, identify root causes from the customer's perspective, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Continuously improve customer satisfaction mechanisms and processes while upholding corporate social responsibility standards. Building a High-Performance Team: Foster talent development and create a positive organizational climate. Drive team and organizational capabilities through performance management. Build a competent, high-performing, and motivated manufacturing team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above; fluent in English for professional work communication. Over 10 years of management experience in large-scale manufacturing enterprises within the 3C industry (Computers, Communications, and Consumer Electronics). Expertise in lean manufacturing, smart factory operations, and production floor management; well-versed in processes, materials, new product introduction (NPI), and intelligent manufacturing. Proficient in business transformation and process development methodologies, with proven success in past implementations. Familiarity with local market conditions, legal environment, and cultural norms in Mexico is preferred. Experienced in the full-cycle strategic management process, from planning to execution, with demonstrable achievements. Strong leadership, accountability, and entrepreneurial mindset to energize and inspire teams.Proven ability to design and implement solutions for complex and critical issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to reduce internal friction across departments.
