Purpose of the position Background in automation, control systems, and programming. As a PLC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining PLC-based solutions for our industrial processes. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our manufacturing operations. PLC Programming and Troubleshooting: Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs using tools such as RSLogix and Studio 5000. PLC Programming and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug PLC systems to ensure optimal performance. System Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLCs into existing control systems. System Design: PLC control structure design for new line. Technical Support: Assist production in continuous process optimization of automated lines. Technical Support: Support maintenance and sustaining teams in troubleshooting difficult equipment failures. Develop maintenance documentation, training programs, and lead this training. Support different business unit to resolve automation issues on assembly lines as requested to improve the overall equipment effectiveness. Support different business unit to develop RFP to engage with contractors for new automation initiatives. Support different business unit for FAT and SAT validation for automated machines ensuring overall project quality. Requirements for the job Scholarship: BS/MS Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent Engineering Degree). Language: Advanced English. Software: Allen Bradley Studio 5000 / Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000 (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and MicroLogix), Mitsubishi GX-WORKS3. Experience: +3 years of experience as a hands-on Automation & Control Engineer on automation and/or electromechanical systems. Experience with vision systems, Keyence or Cognex. Experience with servomotors, Festo, Mitsubishi, Panasonic. Experience with communication protocols, Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus. Experience with robot (Fanuc, Epson, ABB, Kuka, Yaskawa).
