Job Description

DescriptionManage Human Resources functions for one or more moderate to large-sized locations. Responsible for driving initiatives and knowledge through evaluation and ensuring that deliverables are met. It will partner with site leaders, managers, and business partners to provide Human Resources guidance and recommendations in the resolution of workforce issues.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical and functional expertise to managers, supervisors and employees in Human Resource- related policy, legislation, regulation and practice.Work with department managers on all terminations and disciplinary actions to ensure compliance with company adopted procedures and all laws and regulations.Proactively recommend corporate-driven projects, communicate issues, concerns and questions, and understand changing project requirements and best practices.Ensure project issues and concerns are escalated to management to be addressed efficiently and to ensure all operational processes work properly.Maintain positive employer/employee relationships, coach and counsel management on policies and procedures, and solve problems through effective communication.Responsible for respective department's overall performance and for motivating team to exceed department goals and objectives.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Minimum requirementsMinimum 5 years of experience as Human Resources Manager.Strong knowledge of HR practices including all applicable laws and regulations. Must have proven ability to create, lead, implement and direct local HR efforts as part of a corporate HR strategy with a background in employment labor law compliance.Ability to perform in a complex, high volume, and highly matrixed environment.
