The best of Mexico has yet to be discovered.About the role: The Golf Manager and Landscape Operations assumes responsibility for managing and maintaining the properties, whether performed by the maintenance staff or outside contractors. What you will do: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Golf Department, ensuring a seamless, elevated experience for every guest, from arrival to the final putt. Manage all aspects of the golf experience—guest services, pace of play, Preo-shop, caddie operations, tournaments, and maintenance coordination. Support the Director of Resort in delivering a world-class program that celebrates the uniqueness of Tamarindo’s course, terrain, and resort atmosphere. Foster a passionate, knowledgeable, and service-oriented team culture aligned with Four Seasons standards. Ensure that the golf offering enhances the overall resort journey, integrating local identity, sustainability, and hospitality excellence. Essential Functions: Manage all daily golf operations, including tee sheet coordination, player services, caddie assignments, and on-course standards. Oversee golf shop operations—ensuring merchandising excellence, inventory accuracy, and optimal sales performance. Supervise and develop golf associates, caddies, and club house attendants through hands-on coaching and leadership. Monitor pace of play, course etiquette, and guest satisfaction throughout the day. Coordinate with Golf Course Superintendent to align course conditions, maintenance schedules, and playability. Ensure all signage, equipment, golf carts, and practice facilities are maintained to resort-level standards. Support tournament preparation, group outings, and VIP play—creating personalized experiences that reflect the Tamarindo spirit. Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of rounds, guest feedback, revenue, and team performance. Enforce safety procedures and policies across the golf operation. Act as Manager on Duty in absence of Director of Golf and support special projects or cross-departmental initiatives. Partner with Spa, Rooms, F&B, and Guest Experience to create integrated wellness and leisure experiences for guests. Manage caddie scheduling, standards, and feedback processes to ensure consistency and excellence. Support financial responsibilities such as forecasting, payroll, scheduling, and cost controls. Engage directly with guests—resolving issues, personalizing their golf experience, and acting as an on-course ambassador. What you bring: Degree in Golf Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of progressive golf operations experience, preferably within a luxury resort or high-end private club Fluent in English and Spanish Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Deep knowledge of golf operations, guest service, and golf retail. Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred. Comfortable working in a physically active, outdoor environment. Strong attention to detail and guest personalization.
