Design Engineer About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating and developing new designs, improvements, and modifications to existing products based on customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Create and update 3D CAD models and drawings using Siemens NX (CATIA a plus) Design and develop new designs, improvements, and modifications to existing designs Work with mechanical and electrical engineers to develop design concepts Create detailed drawings from 3D models Create component specifications as required Respond to daily requests for drawings/diagrams, documents, presentations, and reports Work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams Generate FOA of plastic components Generate tolerance stack-ups for assemblies Achieve GD&T knowledge and application Requirements: Mid-level knowledge of Siemens NX (and CATIA) Knowledge of 3D solid modeling and 2D drafting Moldflow Advisors and/or ANSYS analysis software knowledge Experience designing parts for plastic injection molding or other manufacturing processes GD&T understanding and application Tolerance stack-ups creation and understanding Problem-solving skills Team player, quick learner, self-motivated, serviceable Microsoft Office knowledge (Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc.) English proficient PDP and change management process understanding Experienced in technical reviews with suppliers and customers' communication Bilingual: English spoken and written 80% Mid-level NX software modeling and drafting experience What We Offer: Competitive compensation and benefits programs Formal development opportunities at all levels and stages of employee careers A strong local presence and interesting global opportunities We Believe: Product Leadership - Innovation that brings value to our customers Humility - Seeking out diverse perspectives and working collaboratively Inclusivity - Recognizing our differences makes us stronger; we are bold and intentional Net-Zero - Committed to energy efficiency, waste reduction, and beneficial reuse Integrity - Taking responsibility for our decisions and doing what is right Accountability - Taking ownership of our actions and driving results Safety First: We prioritize the health and wellness of our employees by continually improving our safety performance.
