Database Administrator A talented database administrator is required to manage MS SQL server databases efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL server DBs to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. The successful candidate will configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring system health and performance. They will also apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations. This role requires the ability to analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end. The candidate will refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes. Key responsibilities include: Managing workloads and assigning tasks Designing and implementing SQL server DBs Maintaining database servers and processes Monitoring system health and performance Applying data modeling techniques Analyzing and resolving issues The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize and plan work independently. They will also be able to work in a rapidly changing environment and multi-task effectively between different activities and teams.
