Role DescriptionWe are seeking for an International Logistics Associate to join our operations team in our Monterrey MX office. This is a full-time hybrid role. The International Logistics Associate should be highly organized and detail oriented to oversee and optimize the following responsibilities:// Order management; verifying PO's with global suppliers and managing production timelines overseas to ensure that orders are produced, shipped and delivered on-time.// Coordinating shipments between Alwood's factories and its multiple customers across USA and Canada. Ensuring a highly satisfactory customer experience throughout the entire operation.// Customer service management for timely updates, regular communication, prompt response, delivering on commitments and proactive solutions.// Negotiating freight costs and seeking alternative routes with current forwarders and carriers.// Administrative responsibilities including data entry, invoices approvals and some financial management under the supervision of the Logistics Director.Skill set requirements:// Full professional fluency in English and Spanish. (Strong written and verbal communication).//3-5 years experienced in logistics - supply chain;international operations (strongly preferred).✈️Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.// Powerful organizational skills and abilities to effectively manage and switch between multiple tasks simultaneously at order fulfillment and logistics operations.// Problem solving - mind oriented to seek for solutions around possible issues during operations.// Customer service oriented with strong attention to details. Proactivity mind set and decision maker to ensure smooth deliveries for multiple customers. ***Previous experience in a related role is a plus.// Competency in ERP tools, preferably NetSuite. (Not mandatory).// Comprehensive understanding about being a team player and capable to adapt to logistics changing market dynamics.This role will be a primarily in-office role with some flexibility to work from home.
