We are seeking an innovative, results-driven Human Resources Manager to join a high-energy team committed to scaling and evolving an exciting startup environment. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of all HR initiatives, including recruitment, labor relations, training, and internship programs, working closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals. You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and oversee a dedicated HR team, empowering them to implement impactful strategies and foster a positive work environment. Proven ability to lead HR initiatives in rapidly evolving business environments. Requirements & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (required). Experience in plant startups (required). Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience in human resources with progressively responsible roles. Expertise in HR forecasting to ensure staffing and resources are aligned with business growth. Experience in the Metal Mechanics Industry is required General knowledge of compensation. Extensive experience in labor relations and working with unions. Experience in manufacturing environments. Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). Ability to drive learning and development programs that promote continuous improvement in teams. Demonstrated capability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and ensuring compliance with labor laws, especially in fast-changing environments. Project management skills, ensuring that HR projects are delivered on time and within budget. Experience in developing employee engagement initiatives that align with company culture and boost productivity. Ability to design and implement employee engagement initiatives that align with organizational culture and increase productivity. Expertise in change management, navigating the challenges of rapid growth and evolving company structures in a startup setting. Ability to leverage HR technology and data analytics to improve processes and scale HR functions as the company grows. Main Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies that are aligned with the company's business objectives. Serve as a strategic partner to leadership in identifying talent needs and workforce planning based on future business growth projections and startup milestones. Oversee labor relations, ensuring harmonious relationships with unions and promoting a collaborative environment. Manage recruitment strategies, sourcing talent both internally and externally in alignment with business needs and growth plans. Actively participate in global HR initiatives, ensuring that local actions reflect and contribute to the company's regional and global strategies. Develop and oversee training programs that support continuous development, ensuring the workforce evolves as the company scales. Collaborate with the Safety Manager to ensure safety practices are embedded into daily operations, fostering a safe culture. Forecast HR needs and adjust resource allocation based on the startup's evolving goals, identifying key talent gaps and addressing them proactively. Optimize HR processes to create efficiencies and scalability while maintaining agility and flexibility. Lead employee engagement efforts, ensuring that initiatives align with the company's mission and culture while driving employee retention. Drive organizational design efforts to ensure the structure supports business needs and growth. Implement well-being initiatives that contribute to employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity. Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during rapid organizational changes and growth spurts. Implement and optimize performance management systems that reflect a high-performance culture.
