OUR CLIENT In this specific role, we are supporting a client that is an industry-leading Tier 1, 2 automotive component manufacturer. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Lead and manage plant operations by implementing policies, procedures, and performance goals aligned with company strategy. Ensure the availability and development of qualified personnel to meet production and operational goals. Foster a positive labor relations environment and resolve employee concerns effectively. Meet or exceed performance targets related to production, quality, inventory, cost, safety, and delivery. Partner with manufacturing engineering to introduce new machinery, tools, and technologies. Identify and drive improvements in processes, layouts, and manufacturing methods. Oversee inventory control, material receiving, and outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate shipments. Analyze root causes of production issues, including delays, scrap, and quality deviations, and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Prepare performance reports and operational metrics for senior leadership. Own plant-level financial performance, including gross profit and budget management. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational challenges and implement strategic initiatives. OTHER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes is required. Familiarity with FTA/Bonded Warehouse operations and customs regulations. Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and job-specific software. Strong analytical, recordkeeping, and organizational skills. Proven leadership and team development capabilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with ERP systems and operational data analysis. Exposure to innovation initiatives and new product introductions (10–20% of role). Fluent in English (minimum 85% proficiency). Demonstrated ability to influence across teams without direct authority. Solid understanding of cost structures and financial performance indicators.
