Job Overview:**Responsibilities**:- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of industrial equipment, including pumps, gearboxes and fin fans.- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.- Utilize precision tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.- Document all repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used in accordance with company procedures.- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of work orders.- Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**:- 3-5 years or more of Mechanic experience working on pumps, gearboxes, and fin fans.- NCCER Millwright certification helpful.- Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.- Supply your own basic mechanic tools.- Must be willing to work overtime when needed.**Benefits/Pay**:- Competitive pay based on experience. 4-10 schedule w/overtime available.- Health, dental, and vision insurance.- Retirement plan with company match.EEO Statement:Universal Plant Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
