Job Title

Key Responsibilities:· Review products and business processes from a legal and compliance perspective, providing support through compliance risk assessments and the review of agreements with vendors, clients, and other parties.· Conduct legal, data privacy, and regulatory reviews on new products, business initiatives, and potential market explorations.· Collaborate with the headquarters' legal team, local business team, government relations, and partnerships team to support the company’s growth and development in Mexico.· Liaise with Mexican regulatory authorities and handle routine compliance documentation for the company.· Address potential complaints, disputes, or conflicts within Mexico; Manage external legal counsel as needed.· Assist with any other ad-hoc matters requiring legal support.Qualifications:· Minimum bachelor's degree in law from a reputable university.· At least 3 years of work experience in law; experience in data privacy or the fintech industry is an advantage.· Admitted to the Mexican Bar.· Proficient in both oral and written English and Spanish.· Experience working with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds; experience in multinational companies or cross-border interactions is preferred.· Strong judgment, logical analysis, communication, and coordination skills.· High sense of responsibility; ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
