We are looking for an HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Supervisor to plan and lead activities related to industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental management. This role is responsible for implementing policies, standards, plans, and programs that ensure effective prevention of workplace accidents and occupational illnesses. Job Responsibilities: Advise, support, and follow up on the implementation of policies, regulations, procedures, and requirements regarding Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management, ensuring compliance with current legislation. Develop and lead energy reduction and waste management projects. Prepare and update the company's Emergency Response Plan. Coordinate and attend inspections from regulatory authorities (e.g., PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, IMSS, STPS). Support corporate and client audits related to safety, health, and environmental compliance. Maintain and update the safety system (DSS) monthly. Oversee key safety programs: lockout/tagout, high-risk machinery, risk and ergonomic assessments. Coordinate corporate certifications and compliance with internal standards. Lead activities of the Safety & Hygiene Committee and emergency response brigades. Authorize high-risk work permits (e.g., working at heights, welding, electrical work). Conduct regular inspections and propose improvements to reduce incidents and risks. Ensure compliance with STPS regulations on industrial safety. Manage safety procedures based on corporate standards. Validate safe operation of new or modified equipment and machinery. Coordinate preventive health initiatives (e.g., medical exams, health campaigns). Drive awareness and training programs on safety and environmental topics. Lead accident investigations and follow up on corrective actions. Plan and evaluate emergency drills. Supervise hazardous waste and chemical storage areas (logs, manifests, SDS, labeling). Conduct and track environmental and safety studies in line with regulations. Qualifications: 5–10 years of experience in a similar role. Conversational English required. Strong knowledge of applicable laws, standards, and regulations in industrial safety, environmental protection, and occupational health. Experience with accident investigation tools and ergonomic/risk evaluation methods. Familiarity with PASST (Self-Management Program for Occupational Safety and Health). Ability to interpret environmental and health monitoring results. Education: Bachelor's in Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment, Industrial Safety and Hygiene Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields. Master's degree is a plus.
