The role: Evergreen Permits is growing quickly. We need a detail-oriented communicator who will keep projects moving, keep clients informed, and work along side our design team so we submit clean residential permit sets to get approval so the contractors can get to work. If you enjoy juggling conversations with city officials, home owners, contractors one moment, marking up drawings for the technical architects and submitting permits the next, we'd love to meet you. What you will do: Own the permit lifecycle – prepare submittals, track reviews, follow up on corrections, and secure final approvals. Keep everyone in the loop – send concise weekly status updates so each client always knows what comes next. Gather missing info fast – call homeowners, contractors, or county staff to get answers that unblock the team. Drive quality – review drawings, add markups, and guide support architects to minimize revisions. Learn our process inside out – study local codes and create Evergreen SOPs so you can spot issues before they reach reviewers and help train the team so knowledge passed through the whole company. What makes you a great fit Fluent spoken and written English; confident on the phone and in email. Chat GBT is totally fine for written but fluent English is a must. Comfortable leading conversations with permitting departments and construction professionals. Organized multitasker who enjoys tracking dozens of deadlines. Familiarity with residential building plans (an architectural background is a plus but not required). Able to work Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM Pacific Time with a one-hour unpaid break.
