Job Description ">At our organization, we are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. As a key member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for processing and auditing weekly and semi-monthly payroll for employees across multiple states. This involves maintaining and updating various payroll data to ensure accurate payments and proper deductions. ">Responsibilities ">">Process and audit payroll for over 500 employees across multiple states; ">Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets; ">Track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions; ">Coordinate efforts between payroll, human resources, and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data; ">Administer the electronic timekeeping system, including setting up new employees and ensuring valid data transfers to financial systems; ">Ensure compliance with state and federal laws on payroll-related issues; ">Maintain accuracy of employee master data and personnel records; ">Support new hire and employee training in payroll processes and systems. "> ">Requirements ">We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with: ">">An Associate's degree in business administration or a related field; ">1-3 years of payroll experience and/or 2-4 years of position-related experience; ">Demonstrated technical knowledge of accounting functional areas and Internal Revenue Service reporting requirements; ">Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency in Excel.
