Job Overview: As a Manufacturing Process Leader , you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective product manufacturing solutions. You will optimize engineering processes, direct technical staff, reduce costs to achieve operational goals, and implement continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Establish an efficient, reliable, and profitable manufacturing process by directing and detecting investments for industrial initiatives and other changes necessary to improve production efficiency levels, quality, and operational safety. Coordinate activities in manufacturing, production, and control areas to improve operational effectiveness using budget, planning capabilities, and internal metrics as a basis. Also direct efforts to communicate quality issues with the customer. Direct and manage the activities of business unit managers and their respective staff. Responsible for achieving set operational and functional goals. Develop and train on-site personnel ensuring a capable workforce in accordance with established policies in coordination with the human resources department to meet approved headcounts per area. Ensure continuous improvement of technical processes, knowing and understanding the relationship between suppliers and internal customers, managing calibration and preventive maintenance programs, making efficient use of available technology generating evidence of key processes utilizing information in available systems to achieve operational excellence. Coordinate the performance of tasks attributed to the site in the context of the integration of new projects. Check the feasibility of new projects (technical feasibility, capacity feasibility, quality objectives, economic objectives). Check that constraints are dealt with by the production site regarding products and processes, their implantation, material and component purchasing conditions, customer delivery conditions, etc. Check the site's involvement in defining the process, and the conducting of their FMECA. Requirements: Five years of experience in a similar position within the maquiladora industry, preferably within the automotive industry. Experience in plastic molding injection or extrusion process. Experience in plant start-ups and manufacturing processes (optional). Six sigma certifications (green belt, black belt, Shainin, etc) required. Experience implementing six sigma improvements and methodologies in manufacturing processes required. Experience applying quality systems required. Experience making plans according to budget required. Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
