Accounting Professional We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and expenses, and ensuring compliance with established procedures. Responsibilities: Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements for the business unit, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. End-of-Month Process: Manage the end-of-month process, including reports and variations explanations for corporate stakeholders. Expense Reports: Review and submit weekly/monthly expense reports for the business unit. Journals and Reconciliations: Prepare, review, and post journal entries in the GL/AR/AP/Fixed Assets module, as well as reconcile bank accounts in MXN and Dollars currency. BPC Platform: Upload monthly information into the BPC platform as part of the month-end closing process. Validations: Perform monthly/quarterly validations for the BPC platform. Supplier Payments: Set payment runs for suppliers on the accounting platform. Annual Budget: Prepare the annual budget according to corporate guidelines in coordination with the Shared Services Finance Manager. MX Fixed Assets Control: Post capitalization, tags, and inventory in the Accounting Platform. Audit Support: Attend to information requests related to external audits. Purchasing Reviews: Daily review of information such as cost center and GL accounts for purchasing requisitions in MRO. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 5-7 years of experience in Maquila Operations. Knowledge of FRS, NIF, or USGAAP accounting standards. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Knowledge of Oracle, Compaq ERP, and BPC Platform for consolidation. Advanced Excel skills. Bilingual in English & Spanish.
