The Engagement Delivery Director (Program Management Director) is a seasoned program management executive leading a team of Program/Project managers responsible for delivery to our most complex, enterprise-level customers. They focus on hiring, building, developing outstanding teams, and ensuring high-quality customer engagements, CSAT, and business outcomes. This role collaborates with other leaders to standardize delivery methodologies, influence global engagement strategies, meet business targets, and provide accurate forecasts and metrics. They contribute to thought leadership, drive organizational initiatives, and lead change efforts at the executive level. They embody Salesforce values, lead by example, and are strong mentors. The Engagement Delivery Director may work across various industry verticals, including: Commercial and Enterprise sectors (Manufacturing, Auto, Energy, Travel, Transportation, Hospitality, Business Services) Communications, Media, and Technology Financial Services, including Insurance Healthcare and Life Sciences Retail and Consumer Goods Public Sector, Non-profit, and Education YOUR IMPACT: Lead programs by defining scope, release planning, and aligning teams with vision and goals. Drive software engineering processes using Agile methodologies and technical skills. Facilitate key meetings, make decisions, remove obstacles, and ensure goals are met. Build strong partnerships with functional teams and act as a trusted partner for executives. Coordinate cross-functional meetings to address release issues, dependencies, and metrics. Provide ongoing program status updates, manage dependencies, and mitigate obstacles. Conduct monthly reviews, foster a collaborative environment, and drive organizational change. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 15+ years of experience in program management, leading enterprise CRM projects. 10+ years in management consulting or similar services. Experience with parallel implementation projects; Salesforce experience is not mandatory. Proven leadership in managing project teams, budgets, and schedules. Excellent communication, conflict management, and executive engagement skills. Ability to lead large, complex programs with multiple teams and integrations. Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT, or equivalent experience. Agile SCRUM Master Certification; PMP and Salesforce certifications preferred. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Enterprise software project delivery experience. Senior consulting experience and client relationship management. Ability to lead multi-cloud delivery and mentor project teams. Strong organizational, risk management, and strategic planning skills. Experience managing large teams and complex programs.
