Job Summary: The core responsibility includes maintaining accurate and complete registration information within Avnet’s SAP DRMS database. This position also includes managing supplier program integrity, consistency, and new development. Principal Responsibilities: Maintains registrations from SAP DRMS tool into multiple, unique supplier data collection tools (Web-based or other), including new submittals, updates, renewals, and status changes Provides appropriate information to resolve disputed registrations Documents special needs of a particular supplier, as needed Interprets supplier policies and ensures compliance with Supplier programs Assists with finding improvements and effectiveness of the registration maintenance process. Supports the Avnet Sales Team with problem resolution of the Demand Creation Program. Identifies supplier programs that are not meeting the minimum requirement and creates a program improvement solution. Manages the registration workflow queue and provides solutions to improve response times. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of systems, processes, and procedures. Knowledge and ability to focus on quality control to improve internal processes Understands demand creation process, policies, and procedures Work Experience: Typically, one year of previous experience working with suppliers, product or sales management.
