OVERVIEW:Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Full-time Packaging, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout the distribution center to company owned branches. You will package and fulfill orders by hand or by machine. Counting parts by hand or using a scale, weighing product for accuracy and properly sealing/packing product for customers and branches will be your main responsibility. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at Ave. Alejandria, Nogales, SON 84094.RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:o Packaging customer orders by hand or machine o Inspecting product for quality and accuracy o Using a scale for weighing product o Maintain the cleanliness/organization of work areao Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectationso Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectiveso Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainingsREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:o Proficient written and oral communication skills o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedo Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyo Willingness to perform repetitive tasks over long periods of timeo Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmento Work independently as well as in a team environmento Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as neededo Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
