YourJobServes as the local IT contact and technical resource for hardware and software support in installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting Operations Technology within the assigned location. The job holder must be capable of making site level decisions in relationship to the OT and IT infrastructure projects. The role will require to work independently at the location, being responsible for networks, firewalls, and severs’ updates and changes, as well as other OT/IT related processes (shop floor, security, patching, software distribution, asset management).This associate will need the ability to manage infrastructure assigned projects and communication with stakeholders. Supports Operations Technology by troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. We manage network connectivity and systems access, maintain equipment, and enforce application security with Molex standards.What You Will Do Ensures local projects adhere to Molex standards, documenting exceptions and presenting to regional management. Provides regional management with on-going updates. Coordinate plans and activities that involve the maintenance and setting up of the data network. Investigates the performance of systems in relation to the LAN and secured PCN and escalates and works with the KBS network group to identify network problems. Reviews system logs to ensure highest performance and successful completion of backups. Acts as back-up for server, storage and network activities at the site and acts under direction from KBS regional group regarding these activities. Implement and ensure that all facets of PC security are being met and ensure that Molex data is properly protected. Resolve Operations Technology hardware and software problems. Adds and maintains Operations Technology on the network. Assigns application access, security, and ensures application of standards. Conducts tests to verify network connectivity is complete and accessible. Reports problems to other functional areas of IT when necessary and follows up as needed. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Available to work in the following work shift: From Monday to Saturday – 06:30am to 02:30pm. Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field. Fluent spoken and written English skills. Strong experience in a connected factory interfacing with related business functional areas (specifically related to shop-floor device connectivity). Experience with infrastructure project management (networks, firewalls, servers, active directory, data storage, PC hardware and software support). Calm demeanor: may deal with internal contacts, management and external suppliers during crisis situations and handle multiple, competing priorities. Problem solving skills that demonstrate the ability to identify, determine causes, evaluate alternative solutions, and make recommendations. What Will Put You Ahead Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA). Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES): software, products and related infrastructure systems. Experience and understanding of control equipment e.g. PLC, HMI, SCADA and related communication protocols. Experience with SAP application integration capabilities and requirements. Knowledge of Cisco equipment. Familiarity with Ethernet networks, O365, Oracle, SQL, anti-virus tools, HP and Dell servers and storage. #LI-DG1
