Component Designer Develops components (attachments, high voltage, low voltage and grommets) Your key tasks: ·Analyses and evaluates system, component and part requirements using relevant methods and tools. ·Creates concepts for components ·Conducts design reviews and transfers findings into product design ·Defines test and validation plans and evaluates test results ·Prepares and releases the bill of materials (""engineering bill of materials"") ·Keeps own knowledge of component design and related production processes up to date with the latest technology ·Evaluates product change requests and provides solutions ·Defines technical requirements for prototypes ·Identifies cost saving potential (using VAVE) and coordinates implementation where appropriate ·Works at LEONI and/or customer sites ·Participates in component projects from the design concept through series launch to the end of lifecycle ·Reviews design data and releases engineering design ·Supports technical customer presentations ·Is the contact person for technical matters. Internally (project, opposite sales, operations,...) and as a service partner for customers and suppliers.
