Job Title

The job incumbent plans, manages, coordinates, and approves all activities within a M+H production plant. This role has the unique responsibility for starting the plant in addition to running it afterward. The activities comprise the areas of production, production quality, logistics, technical service, with influence from HR and finance. Your Challenge: Establish the operating budget and monitor the cost and effectiveness of the production activities Ensure the resources optimization and allocate the labor and capital resources to maximize the productivity and achieve the quality, and manufacturing standards Research, evaluate, and approve the investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant’s production capabilities Develop and implement the operating policies and procedures to ensure that the plant meets its current and future production targets and quality standards Account for the entire supply chain (from supplier to customer) regarding the quality issues Define/approve the appropriate procedures and measures for the quality control Develop and implement the local quality assurance strategies and regulations, improve the existing strategies to fit in the plant´s operations Ensure/approve the Transport Logistics activities in the plant Ensure/approve the Production Logistics activities in the plant Ensure/approve the Logistics Planning activities in the plant Define, develop and execute the production processes according to the customer specifications for all new projects Your profile: Education : University degree in Engineering or relevant field of technical or business education Education: 8 minus/plus years of relevant work experience in the automotive industry, of which at least 5 years in a leading function Project Management experience strongly preferred Skills/Experience: Good technical knowledge of M+H products Kaizen/Hoshin methodology HSE Compliance Risk Management Production Basics Strong problem-solving and decision-making using analysis of data (e.g., KPIs) and facts including emergency preparedness & response and ‘lessons learnt’ Continuous Improvement & agile mindset Leadership Competences: Achievement Orientation Strategic Drive & Innovation Teamwork & Cooperation Developing Others
